Description

Fingoll is a tall, thin, and gangly trickster from the Hiording clan in Sartar, known for his shock of red hair and unsettling grin. He is a member of the Eurmal cult, a complex and illusory deity’s worship, which aligns with Fingoll’s reputation as a liar, shapeshifter, and outsider. His life has been marked by significant events, including pillaging Red Earth supporters in 1622, achieving professional accomplishment in 1623, fighting at the Battle of Pennel Ford in 1624, and witnessing the Dragonrise in 1625. He possesses skills befitting a thief, including exceptional abilities in Fast Talk and Dodge, and he carries a magic POW storage crystal heirloom. Fingoll’s passions include love for family and loyalty to clan and tribe, and he harbors hatred for the Lunar Empire and authority. The history of his family, especially the heroic deeds of his grandparent Varstul and his mother Renna’s tragic end, has shaped his path. His skills, attributes, and affiliations reflect a complex character with a blend of agility, communication prowess, and a knack for deception and stealth. In the grandparent’s era, Varstul, a significant figure in Fingoll’s lineage, was present at the Battle of Grizzly Peak in 1582 and later died heroically defending a member of the Sartar royal house in 1597. Fingoll’s mother, Renna, had a turbulent life, fighting in the First Invasion of Prax in 1608, participating in Starbrow’s Rebellion in 1613, engaging in the Hendriking Campaign in 1619, and finally meeting a tragic end in 1620 when devoured by the Crimson Bat. Fingoll’s own era has been marked by notable events, such as pillaging Red Earth supporters in 1622, achieving a professional accomplishment in 1623, fighting at the Battle of Pennel Ford in 1624, and witnessing the Dragonrise in 1625. Among other family members, Fingoll’s father’s siblings are all alive and married, while his mother’s siblings include one who is alive and unmarried, and one who is deceased.
